Pair MetaMask with MoveQuest.
MetaMask is one of the most widely-used Web3 wallets, available as both a mobile app and a browser extension. This guide covers both pairing paths.
Install MetaMask.

Download MetaMask for your platform.
Mobile: Available on Google Play and the iOS App Store.
Desktop: Install the official browser extension for Chrome, Brave, or Firefox.
- Open MetaMask and select Create a New Wallet.

Back up your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase. Offline. Safely.
Write it on paper. Store it where only you can access it. Never screenshot it, never email it, never store it in cloud notes.

Pair MetaMask on mobile.
Direct app-to-app pairing. Fastest option for phone users.
- Open the MoveQuest App, go to the Wallet section, tap Connect Wallet.

Select MetaMask from the list of supported wallets.
MoveQuest opens MetaMask automatically.

MetaMask displays a MoveQuest connection request.
The authorization request is displayed inside MetaMask — not inside MoveQuest. Review the request carefully and tap Confirm to authorize the connection and pair your wallet address with MoveQuest.
Pair MetaMask on desktop.
Browser extension flow. Best for power users.
- Open the MoveQuest web dApp on your browser.
- Click Connect Wallet and select MetaMask from the list.

The MetaMask extension window opens.
Select the account you want to use, click Next, then click Connect.
MoveQuest uses a direct Web3 wallet integration. When you connect a wallet, the authorization request is displayed by your wallet application — not by MoveQuest. Approving the request allows MoveQuest to recognize your wallet address for claims and blockchain interactions.
Your private keys never leave your wallet. MoveQuest never has access to private keys or seed phrases, and your external wallet always remains under your control.
Security reminder: always verify that the request originates from MoveQuest before approving any wallet connection or signature request.
