The Avalanche & MQT reference.
Everything you need on one page: the MQT token contract, how to add it to any wallet, how the Avalanche network works, gas fee requirements, and how to fund your wallet with AVAX.
The MQT token details.
Use these when adding MQT to any wallet that doesn't auto-detect it.

Wallet-by-wallet import instructions.
By default, new custom tokens like MQT don’t auto-appear after you mine them. Import the contract once, and your balance becomes visible.
Bitget Wallet
- Ensure your network is set to Avalanche C-Chain.
-
Tap the "+" or Manage Tokens button.
-
Paste the MQT contract address.
0xef0cdae2FfEEeFA539a244a16b3f46ba75b8c810 - The symbol and decimals autofill. Tap Import.
MetaMask (Mobile & Extension)
- Set the network dropdown to Avalanche Network.
- Scroll to the bottom of your asset list and click Import tokens (or the "+" button).
-
Select the Custom token tab.
-
Paste the contract address.
0xef0cdae2FfEEeFA539a244a16b3f46ba75b8c810 - Symbol (MQT) and decimals (18) autofill. Tap Import.
Trust Wallet (Mobile)
- On the wallet home screen, tap the "+" or Manage Crypto icon top-right.
- Tap "+" again to add a custom entry.
-
Tap Network and select Avalanche C-Chain.

Rabby Wallet (Desktop)
-
Rabby often detects MQT automatically once your balance is greater than zero.
If MQT doesn’t appear on its own, add it manually using the steps below.
- Click Manage Token List.
-
Paste the contract address into the search bar.
0xef0cdae2FfEEeFA539a244a16b3f46ba75b8c810 - Toggle MoveQuest (MQT) to On to pin it to your portfolio.
Use MoveQuest inside your wallet.
You can interact with MoveQuest in two ways: through the MoveQuest mobile application, or directly through a supported wallet’s built-in browser. The browser option is shown below for MetaMask and Trust Wallet.
MetaMask Mobile
- Open the MetaMask app and log in.
-
Tap the Browser icon on the bottom tab bar (compass / magnifying glass icon).
- Type
movequest.cominto the URL bar and press enter. - Tap Connect Wallet on the site.
-
MetaMask verifies the interaction. Tap Connect to interact with MoveQuest smart contracts.
Trust Wallet Mobile
- Open the Trust Wallet app.
-
If Trust Wallet’s built-in browser is available on your device, tap the Browser tab.
Trust’s dApp browser availability varies by platform and version. iOS note: Apple’s App Store policies sometimes restrict in-app browsers. If the Browser tab isn’t visible, open
movequest.comin Safari instead and pair Trust Wallet from there. - Type
movequest.cominto the address bar. - When the site prompts a connection, confirm the network indicator shows Avalanche, not Ethereum.
- Tap Connect.
Why you need a small AVAX balance.
MoveQuest interactions involve two different types of fees, and they’re not the same thing. Both are shown before confirmation, so you always see what you’re paying.
Network gas fees cannot be paid in MQT. They must be paid in AVAX (Avalanche’s native token).
Maintain approximately 0.25 to 0.50 AVAX in your wallet to comfortably cover routine blockchain transactions and avoid interruptions during PoPA submissions, miner activity, and MQT claims.
Avalanche validators process transactions on the Avalanche blockchain. Those validators are compensated in AVAX, which is why every Avalanche transaction requires a small amount of AVAX regardless of which token you’re actually using.
Think of AVAX as postage: the package can contain anything (MQT, NFTs, data), but the postage stamp on the outside has to be AVAX so the validators get paid for delivering it.
If you’re hitting delays, failed broadcasts, or balances that take forever to load, the issue may not be gas — it may be the shared public RPC node your wallet uses by default. A free dedicated RPC usually fixes this.

Two ways to fund your wallet
-
Direct purchase inside your wallet.
Most wallets (Bitget, MetaMask, Trust) have a Buy tab. Pick your region, pay with debit card or local bank transfer, and AVAX arrives in your wallet automatically.
-
Transfer from an exchange.
Buy AVAX on Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, or any exchange that lists it. Then transfer to your wallet's public address.
Critical: When withdrawing from the exchange, select the Avalanche C-Chain network — not Avalanche X-Chain or another network. Funds sent on the wrong network are unrecoverable.
Manually add Avalanche C-Chain.
Most wallets support Avalanche natively. If yours doesn't, or if you need to add it manually, use these parameters.
- Network name
- Avalanche C-Chain
- RPC URL
https://api.avax.network/ext/bc/C/rpc- Chain ID
43114- Currency symbol
AVAX- Block explorer URL
