MoveQuest is entering its next chapter.
After four years of building, developing, testing, refining, and growing the MoveQuest ecosystem, we have reached an important turning point: preparing MoveQuest to scale beyond our existing community and introduce Proof of Physical Activity to a much larger global audience.
Today, we are proud to officially welcome Ernest “CJ” Jackson as Chief Executive Officer of MoveQuest Labs.
This is more than a leadership appointment.
It represents the next stage in the evolution of MoveQuest—bringing together the technology, vision, community, business leadership, relationships, branding, and strategy needed to take what we have built and prepare it for the masses.
Four Years of Building the Foundation
MoveQuest began with a simple but powerful belief:
Physical activity has real value.
Bitcoin introduced Proof of Work.
Ethereum transitioned to Proof of Stake.
MoveQuest has spent the last four years building an ecosystem around Proof of Physical Activity (PoPA).
We are not a Move-to-Earn project.
We are Move-to-Mine.
Throughout this journey, MoveQuest has evolved from the early GetFit Mining concept into a proprietary ecosystem centered on physical activity, blockchain technology, mining, and community.
Over those years, our focus has been on building the fundamentals first.
Technology had to be developed.
Systems had to be tested.
The ecosystem had to evolve.
The brand had to mature.
The foundation had to become strong enough to support something much larger than the community that helped build it.
As we approach completion of our original MoveQuest roadmap—including Challenges & Events, Leasing, and the Marketplace—we are also preparing for what comes next: Roadmap 2.0, additional blockchain integrations, the MoveQuest blockchain, future wallet infrastructure, broader partnerships, and continued ecosystem expansion.
The foundation has been built.
Now it is time to build upon it.
Why CJ—and Why Now?
CJ is not someone who recently discovered MoveQuest.
He has been here for the journey.
CJ has been part of the community since the early GetFit Mining days nearly four years ago. He understands the platform, the mission, the technology, the community, the challenges we have faced, and the progress we have made.
That matters.
This next stage of MoveQuest requires more than someone who understands business from the outside.
It requires someone who also understands MoveQuest from the inside.
CJ brings both.
He brings more than 40 years of experience in banking, finance, entrepreneurship, consulting, business development, executive leadership, and relationship management.
His professional background includes experience as a relationship manager with JPMorgan Chase, work as a mortgage executive, decades operating his own consulting practice, more than two decades as an investor and business partner, and prior experience serving as chairman and CEO.
But experience alone is not why this partnership makes sense.
It is also deeply personal.
In 2015, CJ spent months hospitalized, including weeks in a coma. Part of his recovery meant rebuilding something many people take for granted—the ability to move.
Movement became part of his road back.
So when CJ was introduced to the original GetFit Mining concept and ultimately MoveQuest, the belief behind the project was not theoretical to him.
He had lived it.
That personal connection to movement, health, recovery, and physical activity is a major reason why CJ understands what MoveQuest can mean to people beyond crypto.
Relationships Matter—But Timing Matters More
One of the most valuable things CJ brings to MoveQuest is his network.
Over a lifetime of business and personal relationships, CJ has built connections across corporate America, finance, entertainment, music, athletics, media, influencers, business leadership, and other professional circles.
Those relationships can create opportunities that would be extremely difficult for MoveQuest to reach on its own.
But there is an important distinction:
Having valuable relationships and knowing when to use them are two very different things.
People do not build strong reputations and trusted networks over decades and then casually put those relationships behind a project before they believe that project is ready.
The timing has to be right.
The messaging has to be right.
The branding has to be right.
The fundamentals have to be in place.
The direction has to be clear.
The project has to demonstrate sustainability.
And most importantly, it has to be something worth introducing to people whose trust has been earned over many years.
That is why this moment matters.
CJ has spent the last four years building his own relationships, reputation, network, and business opportunities while MoveQuest has spent those same years building its ecosystem.
Those two paths are now coming together.
The question has never been, “Why didn’t CJ bring these relationships to MoveQuest sooner?”
The real question is:
Is MoveQuest now ready to be introduced to them?
And collectively, do we have the infrastructure, branding, technology, business strategy, leadership, and community necessary to convert those introductions into meaningful opportunities?
That is exactly what this next chapter is about.
Connections Can Open Doors—MoveQuest Still Has to Deliver
Relationships are powerful.
They can create access.
They can start conversations.
They can open doors that may otherwise remain closed.
But connections are not a magic wand.
CJ and his team may help MoveQuest enter rooms we have never been in before.
They may create conversations with corporations, business leaders, athletes, entertainers, influencers, organizations, ambassadors, and communities around the world.
But once those doors open, MoveQuest still has to deliver.
That is why we have remained so focused on building the fundamentals before attempting significant expansion.
The ecosystem has to function.
The message has to be clear.
The brand has to be credible.
The business structure has to support growth.
Our technology has to perform.
Our community experience has to be strong.
And the mission has to remain authentic.
Growth is never guaranteed, and this appointment should not be interpreted as a promise that a certain number of users will suddenly arrive or that a single announcement will transform the project overnight.
What it creates is opportunity.
Opportunity to enter new conversations.
Opportunity to build stronger partnerships.
Opportunity to reach audiences we could not previously access.
Opportunity to elevate the MoveQuest brand.
Opportunity to take everything we have spent years building and finally introduce it to a much larger world.
More Than a Famous Name
CJ is also a member of the Jackson family. His mother and Joseph Jackson were siblings, making him a first cousin to Michael, Janet, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, La Toya, Rebbie, and the Jackson family.
Those relationships have given CJ a lifetime of exposure to extraordinary environments, people, industries, and opportunities.
But this appointment is not about a famous last name.
It is about what that lifetime of experience helped develop.
The confidence to walk into unfamiliar rooms.
The ability to communicate with people at every level.
The instinct to understand people and relationships.
The ability to build trust.
The ability to recognize opportunity.
And the experience to turn the right introduction into a meaningful business conversation.
That is what CJ brings to MoveQuest.
Expanding Leadership—Not Replacing the Foundation
This transition does not change the mission of MoveQuest.
It does not replace the foundation that has been built.
And it does not mean Founder and Creator Lynette Artin is going anywhere.
Instead, it allows MoveQuest to expand its leadership by placing responsibility on people whose strengths align with the project's needs during this next phase.
Lynette will remain deeply involved in MoveQuest, focusing on the areas where she is strongest: vision, ecosystem development, product innovation, crypto, education, creative development, and community.
Our development team will continue to build and advance the technology that powers the ecosystem.
CJ and his team will increasingly focus on the business side of MoveQuest, including leadership, branding, strategic relationships, partnerships, business development, organizational growth, and the creation of pathways into new markets and opportunities.
No one person should have to wear every hat.
Strong leadership means knowing where your strengths are—and surrounding yourself with people whose strengths complement your own.
That is what this next chapter represents.
Building the Leadership Structure for Scale
CJ's appointment is also part of a broader plan to strengthen the executive structure surrounding MoveQuest.
As we grow, we intend to continue bringing together leadership and expertise across areas such as:
Marketing. Business development. Operations. Community experience. Technology. Branding. Strategic partnerships. Corporate relationships. Ecosystem development.
The objective is straightforward:
Build MoveQuest to scale.
Build for longevity.
Build the infrastructure, processes, procedures, systems, strategy, and accountability required to support meaningful growth.
And build an organization capable of taking Proof of Physical Activity from a community of early believers to potentially hundreds of thousands—and ultimately millions—of people around the world.
That kind of growth does not happen overnight.
A new CEO does not magically change everything the next morning.
Sustainable growth comes from putting the right people, strategies, partnerships, processes, branding, and infrastructure in place—and then executing.
That is the work ahead.
A Team Effort
This next stage will require all of us.
CJ and his team can help create exposure, relationships, and opportunity.
Our technology and development teams have to continue building and delivering.
Our leadership has to continue refining the business and the ecosystem.
And our community remains one of the most important pieces of MoveQuest.
The energy around this project has always come from the people who believed in it.
The people who kept moving.
The people who kept participating.
The people who kept sharing it.
The people who stayed through the building years.
Now we need that community energy more than ever.
Re-engage. Re-energize. Reconnect.
Some people heard about MoveQuest years ago and may need to see it again.
Some people stepped away while the ecosystem was still being built.
Some people have never seen what MoveQuest has become.
And millions of people around the world have never heard the phrase “Proof of Physical Activity.”
That is the opportunity ahead of us.
The Mission Remains the Same
Through every stage of MoveQuest, one thing has remained constant:
Health is the mission. Community is the foundation. Movement is where it begins.
MoveQuest exists because movement matters.
Every walk.
Every workout.
Every person who gets out of a chair and decides to move a little farther today than yesterday.
Every person rebuilding their health.
Every person developing better habits.
Every person who needs another reason to get moving.
That is the heart of Proof of Physical Activity.
And that is not changing.
What is changing is our ability to tell that story.
Our ability to build relationships around it.
Our ability to strengthen the business behind it.
Our ability to enter bigger rooms.
Our ability to create new partnerships.
And our ability to introduce MoveQuest to a world that has not yet seen what we have built.
Welcome to the Next Chapter
Four years have been spent building the foundation.
Now we begin combining that foundation with stronger leadership, branding, marketing, and business development, new relationships, and a community ready to grow.
There are no guarantees in business.
There are no shortcuts to sustainable growth.
But there are moments when preparation and opportunity finally meet.
We believe this is one of those moments.
We are excited to welcome officially:
Ernest “CJ” Jackson
Chief Executive Officer, MoveQuest Labs
CJ, welcome to MoveQuest leadership.
Welcome to the next chapter.
And to the entire MoveQuest community:
We're All In.
It's time to Move.
